About Lauren

Lauren combines a philosophical approach with evidence-based practice when supporting people to better understand what drives their complex difficulties.

Lauren primarily works within a psychodynamic model with adolescents and adults. She believes in the idea that the human psyche is incredibly complex, and that real long-lasting change cannot occur with medication alone or very brief therapy.

Lauren works with her clients at a deeper level and aims to get to an understanding of some of the more complex aspects to emotional distress. She will assist in building a more cohesive sense of self and improving flexibility in psychological functioning.

Lauren works with issues ranging from: depression, anxiety, grief and loss, parenting issues, relationship difficulties, and adjustment issues. She has an interest in supporting neurodivergent teenagers and adults, and also has a background in the teaching profession.
